Okay, so I am 19 weeks tomorrow! Wahoo. Have a boring prenatal this morning and an annual that I am about 4 months overdue on. Ugh. Hate those. Can't wait to hear that little baby's heartrate again. Curious what i have gained...guessing a few lbs by now...but who knows. Only 1 week until our big ultrasound and I am super excited. We may take a tip from our doula and have the tech write the gender on a piece of paper and open it over dinner or something more special than having him/her blurt it out where we can't really celebrate. Not sure though. Mike wants the parts pointed out. LOL. Must be a guy thing.
Lor thinks she has a baby in her belly too now, and makes me kiss it and feel it. It is so sweet, but I hope she isn't disappointed in September when nothing comes out. LOL. She is also thrilled about getting to talk to the baby on the phone today. She has been using the potty so well and we are hopeful we will only have one in diapers come fall. Last night she opened the back door, called for Swiffer to "come in doggie, it's cold outside." Wow, can't imagine where she heard those exact words. :)

17 weeks
Here is my belly from today, 17w1d. I swear it takes me forever to look truly pregnant. Must be those abs of steel. ;) ha ha. 2 of my 3 pregnant friends due in September are having boys and the 3rd will find out the day before me. I must be having a girl just to balance out the boy girl ratio in the world...right? I thought it was very sound logic.

Baby Wearing
Most of you know that I wore Loralei almost 24/7 for the first year. She was attached to me. She has discovered a love for baby wearing with her Bitty Baby MiMi and Poppa gave her for Christmas. We can both wear our babies come September.

My Big Girl!
We moved Loralei to her big girl bed last night (twin bed and a different room) and she did amazing. I don't know what I was worried about. I was seriously about to cry seeing her nursery all empty. She was so stinking proud of herself!
*UPDATE-hear is a picture...she is still doing great. :) We are so proud.

one active baby
So for about 2 weeks I have thought I was feeling the baby off and on but wasn't sure. Tuesday night I was finally convinced. This little bean is so stinking active. I think he/she is putting on a 3 ring circus in there. It is the best feeling in the world. I can't make him/her move yet, and it's very random, which sets off alarm bells when I haven't felt anything for a while, but boy have I longed for this part of pregnancy for so long! :)
I am a tiny bit nervous of an incompetent cervix given the 2 d&cs I had last year. My mw assures me I shouldn't be since I was completely dilated on my own for one and starting to for the other...but still...always something to worry about. I guess at the 19w6d u/s they can measure my cervical length to tell me if I am at risk. Now, just to relax until then. I think I earned this shirt!
