36 Weeks

We saw Linda today and baby Michael is doing great.  She brough some dvds for me to watch and the birth pool to have ready for when labor starts.  I can't believe how soon he could be here.  We have a bunch to finish around the house and my dad and Alice coming in town for a week, so hopefully he will stay put at least 2-3 more weeks...hopefully 4-5.  :)  I am definitely growing here at the end.  I am not ready for this pregnancy to be over.  We aren't 100% decided about number 3, but think we may be complete with 2 kids.  Here are some 36 week belly shots...finally looking hugely pregnant! :)

Had a major hormonal melt down today.  A bunch of friends are pregnant again pretty soon after having babies and another is talking about number 2 before number one is here, and while I am over the moon for the new babies, the planning makes me sad.  I had a plan too.  I wanted kids 18 months - 24 months apart.  2 little girls to be exact.  And that was all taken from me time and time again.  I actually had someone say how lucky I was number one was a girl and number 2 is a boy...but really it's number 5 that is a boy, we'll never really know about 2, 3, and 4.  Must just be those pregnancy hormones but it just hit me all over again how much I lost and how I have 3 babies I will never get to know or hold.  Of course, I can't imagine my life any other way anymore...I know sweet baby Michael was meant for me and that this is my perfect family, but a tiny part of me will always wonder if...

35 Weeks

We can't believe that I have 13 days until I am "full term."  We are planning lots of fun relaxing stuff for this weekend just in case it's our last one as a 3some.  My dad will be here the following weekend and when he leaves I will be 37.5 weeks...so who knows.  We had maternity pictures this week and I can't wait to see them.  Here is a shot from 35 weeks.  I feel like I am HUGE, but people keep telling me I am tiny...well, except for dh who thinks my belly is ginormous.  :)

34 Weeks

Had a wonderful appointment with Trinie this morning.  Measured perfectly at 34cm, gained 4lbs in 3 weeks, and his hr was in the mid 140s and very reactive!!  So stoked.  Next time I see her I have my GBS test and then it's just waiting for baby Michael from there!  We went to Plainwell Ice Cream and had a giant waffle cone to celebrate.  Baby Michael liked it too because he is dancing around like crazy right now.  Loralei had some blue moon and was as cute as a button listening to baby Michael with the doppler.  Trinie lets her find the hb all by herself and even assist with the measuring!  She is such a pro.  Maybe one day she will be a midwife!!!

Also had a blast with my family visiting.  Got some great pictures with my mom and my sister!!!  Wish Lor and I could see them more!

33 Weeks

I had my 33 week appointment today with Linda and all was well with baby Michael's heartrate and everything but I am measuring 2 weeks behind now.  I was a week ahead so I am a little nervous.  I feel little and haven't gained weight in over 5-6 weeks.  She said it could just be that he has dropped lower or a weird position, so hopefully that is all that is going on.  Around this time with Loralei I measured 2 weeks behind as well...so maybe it's those rock hard abs...ha ha.  I see Trinie next week and will see how things look then.  I suppose it could also still be dehydration for the sickies that we had over the weekend and all the vomiting.

His hr was great though and he was moving around during the measuring.  He hasn't been moving as much though, but I know they don't have as much room at the end.  Guess I will keep eating lots of good food and tons of protein and maybe sneak in a few more cookies! :)

Loralei was too cute.  She went right in Linda's bag and grabbed the gel and the doppler and Linda let her find the heartbeat.  She knows exactly where to go and how to do it.  Maybe she will be a midwife one day.  I will work on a new belly picture later, although I don't think much has changed.

My mom, Mike, Crystal, Owen, and Ethan are coming to stay the week and we are so excited.  Also my cousin and his wife and daughter will be here for 3 days.  Going to be a zoo in my house but we are looking forward to the company!
