Summer Fun

This weekend we had a blast.  We took Lor to Allegan for the Horse Luau.  She had a blast playing games, doing crafts, riding horses, and eating cookies and punch!  She also got a horse painted on her hand (instead of her face) and was very sad to see it come off in the bubble bath last night.

Then we went to a friends birthday party and the Island Festival in Plainwell.  That was just Saturday.

Today, my friend and I went to the Lighthouse Outlets and did some damage.  I scored a great Hanna set for about $17 and matching summer outfits for Michael and Lor next summer for $2.99/item.  Amazing.

Michael has been super active this weekend and I am loving every minute of it.  Can't believe 32 weeks is 3 days away!  Wow!!!  I am taking time to cherish the time Lor and I have left as a twosome...I love that little girl so stinking much!

30 Weeks

Let the 10 week countdown begin!!!  I have a feeling it will be more like 11 but either way it is feeling really close!  I am getting kicked and punched and wiggled and squished and I LOVE it.  It's hard to believe he is just barely over 3lbs and doing so much shaking in there!  I see Linda, our homebirth midwife on Thursday and Trinie, our hospital midwife next Wednesday.  I know appointments are going to be getting closer together and I already feel like I am going all the time.  I never got the results of my iron test so I am guessing my levels were fine.  We decided to skip the gestational diabetes test since I have no symptoms and had no problems with Loralei.

We have been doing so much around the house...trying to get everything done before baby Michael comes.  Here is our $15. antique door Mike sanded/stained for our headboard...

Here I am at 30 weeks!!

Here is Lor getting a pedicure...lol...purple sparkle toes as she calls them.  Daddy even did the glitter part!

And finally here are some pictures of us picking blueberries last weekend.  We picked 6lbs and Lor probably ate another pound.

4th of July Weekend

We had a fabulous weekend.  Baby Michael is poking me so good some days it actually hurts.  But even those kicks are enjoyable to me!  Still feeling really great and only 11ish weeks to go.  Wahoo.  Here are some pics from our weekend.

Lor is totally into dress up lately and here are some pics as her as a chef and some sort of fairy princess!

We went and saw Toy Story 3 with Lor and she did so great.  Here she is all ready for the movie with popcorn bucket in hand.  I think the popcorn may have been her favorite part.

And, here is Alton Brown's homemade banana pudding...yes everything was homemade...even the vanilla waffers...it was a ton of work but also the best banana pudding ever!!!
